Ruth went above and beyond for my family! I made a very long distance move with small children, which was at times very daunting and overwhelming. My home was a unique country property in St. Joseph County and required out of the box approaches to marketing and selling. Ruth was inventive on introducing prospective buyers to the special features of the home and surrounding property. We first meet Ruth when we were looking for a villa in March of 2020. It happened right when the Covid-19 pandemic was starting to lock things down and we didn't know what our new normal was going to be day to day. Ruth was willing to still go out and show us the villa. She made sure all safety precautions were in place. We were impressed. We didn't buy the villa but she stayed in contact with us. In fact, we decided to wait out the pandemic and then revisit the idea of moving. She continued to send us information. So, when we saw a villa go on the market in a very desirable area for us we contacted Ruth. She made us feel like we already had a realtor on stand by. We bought the villa in October and needed to sell our house. Ruth was so good at helping us buy our villa there was no question in our mind that she was the right person to sell our house in the hardest of times. She sold our house in the middle of winter, during the slowest time of the year the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with the Covid-19 pandemic happening. She sat at our house on countless Sundays doing an Open House, put it on the Cressy and Everett Show, paid for advertising and had it on social media. She mapped out our house so well with For Sale signs in the neighborhood that people were joking about it being so easy to find our house. She also contacted other realtors letting informing them about our house. She sold the house in about 11 weeks, but we had to take the house off the market for 3 weeks right after listing it because of family issues. So, in reality she sold the house in 8 weeks. We definitely selected realtor who is always up for a challenge. Personally, I think she thrives on the challenges.

We are in our 60's and lived in the same house for 23 years. The thought of moving was scary and overwhelming. Ruth took the time to talk to us, get to know us and was very supportive. She was always communicating with us. There were times she would give us a call just to make sure we were ok. Ruth was always prepared, she had a list of people we could choose from when we needed a house inspector, roofer, electrician, movers ect. We down sized our house and needed to get rid of extra furniture, that was no easy task because of Covid-19. Ruth found us an agency that was happy to come get the furniture. After the sudden loss of our mother, the family decided to sell her house but we didn't know where to start. A close family friend recommended Ruth to us, and we'll forever be grateful for that. This was a first time buy for my girlfriend and I. We always felt in the loop with what was going on, at least with Ruth/C&E’s side of things. She was very patient and understanding with us. Anytime we had a question or clarification that needed to be made, Ruth was there in a timely manner. We have kind of a hectic schedule and the line of communication was still always there for us.
